Description: Resurrection is the result of a collaborative effort between vocalist Miranda Hempel and myself. The song itself is a passionate appeal from a defeated soul for a second chance. The exact type of second chance that is desired is up to the listener’s interpretation; it could be a woman asking for her ex-lover to take her back, or it could be more literally interpreted as asking for a lost friend or relative to rise from the dead. No matter how you interpret the lyrics, though, Resurrection is definitely a very moving song with a high level of emotional intensity.
